On 10 December 2018, I had the honour to visit the premises of Institut Kanser Negara (IKN), Malaysia.
IKN was one of the host sites of the APHN collaborative webinar in Malaysia. It’s Palliative Care department is headed by Dr Caryn Khoo, who is also a member of the APHN Malaysia Editorial team. Besides meeting with Dr Khoo to discuss about possibilities of hosting future webinar series, I also had the chance to meet the Director of IKN, Dr Asmayani bt Khalib and Ms Prita Nambbiar, a pharmacist with an interest in Palliative Care.
My hosts were very hospitable and keen to engage with the APHN. I look forward to more meetings with partners and members from Malaysia, and also other places in Asia Pacific in the coming year. Here are some photos which I took during my visit.
