‘Nursing is not an easy task, especially in the field of palliative care, when patients who face life-limiting illnesses have a poorer prognosis, are more likely to have a large range of symptoms, and are also, more emotionally vulnerable’.
This workshop will address important aspects of care and topics include patient assessment, communication issues, wound management and the entire spectrum of patient care which is vital towards ensuring patients receive the due care they need in their preferred familiar surroundings.
Nurses wanting to enhance their skills in communication, patient assessment, or caring for patients in their final hours and more are encouraged to register. This workshop will include interactive teaching methods, and will be based on tutorials and practical exercises.
