ANNOUNCEMENT REGARDING UPDATE IN INDIVIDUAL MEMBERSHIP FEE STRUCTURE FROM 2023, PLEASE READ.

Types of Membership

Individual

For any individual who is actively involved in all or any aspect of hospice and palliative care.

Membership Fees*

Low-income economy 10
Lower-middle-income economy 20
Upper-middle-income economy 35
High-income economy 50

*Rates are based on a sliding scale according to the income of individuals or the operating expenditure of organisations. Calculation of the fee is to be made by the organisation when applying for membership. Our membership is based on the calendar year, January 1 through December 31. For more information, click here.

Based on APHN’s Constitution, Section 6.2 The application for membership of the Association shall be made in writing and shall be considered by the Council which shall have the absolute discretion to decide upon acceptance or rejection. No reason will be given for its decision, which shall be final and not be questioned in any court of law.

Can anyone join as a member? Expand

For Individual Membership, any individual from any part of the world can join as a member!

For Organisational Membership, only organisations from any of our 18 sectors (Australia, Bangladesh, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nepal, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam) are able to join as a member!

How do I determine which membership tier to pick? Expand

Rates are based on a sliding scale according to the income of individuals or the operating expenditure of organisations. Calculation of the fee is to be made by individuals or organisations when applying for membership, hence it is up to your discretion to determine the tier.

I have submitted my application and made payment for my membership. When and how will I be informed of the status of my application? Expand

As your membership application requires approval by our Membership Committee, we ask for your patience and understanding as it may take 3-4 business days before approval. If you have indicated a supporter, please inform your supporter that we will be contacting them about your application.

When your membership has been approved, you will receive a welcome email with your login details.

Who do I indicate as my supporter? And what should I do if I do not have a supporter? Expand

Your indicated supporter should be a member of our organisation. We will forward your application to your supporter to obtain approval before processing your membership.

If you do not have a supporter, you may leave the column empty. Note: This will not affect your application in any way.

I have forgotten my Login ID and/or Password. What shall I do? Expand

I am an APHN member. Can I vote at APHN's AGM? Expand

Only Organisational Members have voting rights at APHN's AGM. Individual Members may attend APHN's AGM as observers.

I wish to terminate my membership with immediate effect. Will I be refunded for the remaining unused number of months? Expand

If you wish to terminate your membership before the expiry date, you may do so by emailing us at [email protected].

There is no refund for the remaining unused number of months.
