*The minimum amount to donate to receive one of Dr Maurice's paintings is SGD1000. Only the two highest donors will receive either one of the paintings. Priority of choice of painting will go to the highest donor and the second highest donor will receive the other painting.
You can still donate any amount you wish to support the cause!
Dr Maurice Chan of Life Art Society is the artist behind these two beautiful paintings!
"This October, I am taking part in the World Hospice and Palliative Care Day in collaboration with the Asia Pacific Hospice Palliative Care Network (APHN).
Today, 80% of those who need hospice and palliative care are in developing countries. At least 40 million need palliative care annually, including 20 million at the end of life. Together with the WHPCA and APHN, we support the notion to advocate for hospice and palliative care worldwide and national bodies to integrate hospice and palliative care into their country’s health systems.
And so I am painting and raising funds to support the APHN to continue their work into promoting hospice and palliative care in Asia and the Pacific. Their purpose is to empower and support organisations and individuals committed to alleviating suffering from life-threatening illness.
I have donated my 2 of my paintings above for this cause. For at least SGD1000, you could get one of the paintings home. Else you could donate for this special cause! My target is to raise SGD3000. Please support my challenge by making a donation.
Together, we can do more for a better world. Thank you for your support!"
