CanSupport News : Her Excellency’s Visit and Award to Mrs Harmala Gupta
Her Excellency, Wife of Governor General of Canada, Sharon Johnston visited CanSupport’s Day Care on 24th February 2014. Her Excellency was also accompanied by the following people: Mrs. Brenda Beck, Spouse of High Commissioner of Canada to India and Mrs. Madhulika Verma, Spouse of High Commissioner of India to CanadaOn the evening of 25 February 2014, His Excellency the Governor General of Canada, David Johnston, awarded Mrs Harmala Gupta, the Governor General’s Medallion for pioneering contribution to palliative care in India. The Governor General’s Visit Medallions are awarded to individuals for continued and exceptional service in promoting and enhancing the Canada-India relationship.
