We are honoured to have Dr Noreen Chan speaking on the topic of “Palliative Care Assessment”.
Dr Noreen Chan is the Senior Consultant and Head of the Division of Palliative Care at National University Cancer Institute, Singapore (NCIS). She heads the multi-disciplinary Palliative Service of the National University Hospital, which provides a consultative “shared-care” service to patients regardless of age, diagnosis or discipline (including Paediatrics).
Her other appointments include Chair of the Chapter of Palliative Medicine Physicians; Chair of the Palliative Medicine Subspecialty Training Committee; ACP (Advance Care Planning) Lead, National University Hospital. Her interests include the interface between Palliative care and Oncology; clinical decision making and ethical issues at the end of life; Spirituality in healthcare; and Palliative care education at all levels.
