Dr Santosh K. Chaturvedi, M.D; FRCPsych is the Senior Professor of Psychiatry at National Institute of Mental Health & Neurosciences (NIMHANS), Bangalore, India. He has been a faculty at the Department of Psychiatry at NIMHANS since 1982 to date. Presently, he is a Consultant at the Consultation Liaison Psychiatry & Psychiatric Rehab Services.
Dr Chaturvedi is also a Fellow at the Royal College of Psychiatrists. He was awarded the Indian Council of Medical Research Awards on three occasions, 1989, 1992 and 2002. He is also the Editor in Chief Journal of Psychosocial Rehabilitation & Mental Health since 2014 to date and has more than 120 publications on Psychosocial oncology, end of life care, spirituality & palliative care in different International and National journals, & books.
