APHN began the COVID-19 Care Package campaign on 1st April 2020 and is still ongoing to date.
The purpose of the campaign was to raise funds so we may send care packages that were designed as a morale booster for palliative care workers in the Asia Pacific region working at the frontline during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The care packages contain items such as: surgical masks, snacks, vitamins etc. along with notes of encouragement to show our support for their selfless sacrifice during this period. (Items per package may vary depending on the need of the region)
COVID-19 may have slowed down in some regions but there are many other regions still battling against the pandemic. This fight is far from over and we would like to enlist to your help to donate to our campaign to support these palliative care workers.
Thus far, we have sent care packages to services in Singapore, Bhutan and Malaysia.
Singapore batch:
Bhutan batch:
Jigme Dorji Wangchuck National Referral Hospital
Delivery services to Malaysia have been delayed due to the pandemic. We will be uploading photos from our Malaysia batch once they have arrived in Malaysia.
