The Asia Pacific Hospice Palliative Care Network will be hosting a webinar on ‘Caring beyond Cure – Paediatric Palliative Care in a Pacific Island Nation’ on 1 July 2025 (Tues), 1-2 pm (Singapore Time). We are honoured to have Mrs Sina Kami from WOWS Kids Fiji and Tae Kami Foundation WOWS Tonga as our speaker for this session!
Synopsis
This presentation will explore Paediatric Palliative care provision, recent developments, and challenges. The presentation will include perspectives of both clinicians and a non-governmental organisation supporting children with cancer, WOWS Kids Fiji, established by bereaved parents in memory of their daughter Tae Kami.
Speaker Bio
Mrs Sina Kami is the Co-Founder & Director of WOWS Kids Fiji to focus on caring for children with cancer and she is the Co-Founder of Tae Kami Foundation – WOWS Tonga that is supporting the children’s ward at Vaiola Hospital, Tonga.
Dr Savenaca Seduadua is a General Paediatrician with a special interest in Paediatric Oncology at the Aspen Hospital, Lautoka, Fiji.
