Cynthia Goh
Team leader - Associate Professor
Senior Consultant at the National Cancer Centre Singapore, is a palliative care physician with 30 years in the field. Dr Goh is a pioneer of hospice in Singapore, having built from scratch hospice home care, inpatient hospice and hospital palliative care services. She has led training-of-trainers in Palliative Care teams in Vietnam from 2005 to 2008 and in Indonesia from 2009 to 2012. She is the current Chair of the Asia Pacific Hospice Palliative Care Network.
Dr. Sushma BHATNAGAR
Co-Leader
Professor & Head, Anaesthesiology, Pain & Palliative Care, Dr. B.R.A Institute Rotary Cancer Hospital, All India Institute of Medical Sciences. She is also the Founding Editor of the Indian Journal of Palliative Care.
Doug BRIDGE
Doctor
Emeritus consultant, Royal Perth Hospital. He is also the President of the Chapter of Palliative Medicine, Royal Australasian College of Physicians. From 1977-79, he worked in a rural health project in the Khulna District, Bangladesh and has nourished a hope to return to Bangladesh for many years. Doug helped establish palliative medicine as a specialty in Australia. His special interest is the psycho-spiritual dimension of palliative care.
Anjum JOAD

an anaesthetist and palliative care consultant. She coordinates the palliative care unit at the Bhagwan Mahaveer Cancer Hospital and Research Centre, Jaipur, India. She has lectured in various venues in India and hopes to get Pain and Palliative care curriculum offered to all healthcare workers in India.
CHONG Poh Heng

is a palliative care physician and is the Medical Director at HCA Hospice Care in Singapore, the largest home care service with 800+ patients at any one time. His major interest is in children's palliative care and leads the HCA Star PALS (Paediatric Advanced Life Support) service which aims to improving the quality of life for children with life-limiting conditions. He is also heading the APHN Special Interest Group on Children's Pall Care.

LIAN Siew Bee
Nurse
an Advanced Practice Nurse and Assistant Director of Nursing at Singapore General Hospital. She qualified as a registered nurse in 1993 and has been working as an oncology nurse for almost 20 years. Lian manages a group of Clinical Nurse Specialists in addition to her clinical role as an Advanced Practice Nurse in Oncology. She is also an adjunct lecturer in the National University of Singapore for the Master of Nursing Program.
Jan PHILLIPS

is a Palliative Care Nurse Consultant and Educator based in Australia. She is a Fellow of the Australian College of Nursing with qualifications encompassing General, Palliative Care and Oncology. She has worked for some years in Pakistan and is currently a nurse educator and mentor at Hospis Malaysia’s courses in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and at the Rachel House Paediatric Palliative Care Team in Jakarta, Indonesia.
TAN Wee King
Nurse
Head of Training Services at Dover Park Hospice, Singapore. She was a nurse practitioner and for many years an educator in the School of Nursing, covering disciplines such as midwifery, community health nursing and oncology nursing. Since 2010, Wee King has been involved in palliative care education for healthcare professionals and volunteers in Singapore, Vietnam, China and Indonesia.

currently works for an international NGO active in the rural northern parts of Bangladesh in health and community awareness raising. She has a special interest in Palliative and Hospice care and was previously working as a nurse, including experience with home care, in Canada and the US since 2008.
Megan DOHERTY

is a paediatric palliative care physician living and working in Dakha. Her work includes the World Child Cancer-BSMMU Twinning Project which provides for training of BSMMU medical and nursing staff. The project also aims to improve data collection and monitoring of cases and outcomes—as well as developing a satellite network to reach and treat children outside of Dhaka.
