The Other Side of the Story – Much of World Suffers Not From Abuse of Painkillers, but Absence of Them

Dear friends,

http://nyti.ms/1V7eYlE

The New York Times has just came out with an article highlighting the opposite side of the opioid abuse issue in the US – the lack of access to pain medications in much of the world.

The article titled “Much of World Suffers Not From Abuse of Painkillers, but Absence of Them” provides important coverage on the issue of the pain divide and on the work of the GAPCPC Commission. Several Commissioners and Scientific Advisory Committee members are quoted in the article, including Ms Felicia M. Knaul, Mr Diederik Lohman, Ms Liliana De Lima, Dr. Dingle Spence and Mr Afsan Bhadelia.

Please help to share this and spread the word for us!
