Advance Care Planning (ACP) for children with life-limiting conditions has different difficulties than ACP for adults. How do we consider the child’s hope and the hope of the family to look after them? Especially when confronted with a family that is in a situation where death is inevitable, but still has some hope for cure, we as medical professionals may feel various difficulties.

We are honored to have Dr Nobuyuki Yotani from Japan to speak on this topic. Dr Nobuyuki Yotani M.D., Ph.D. is the Head of the Department of Palliative Medicine at the National Center for Child Health and Development, Japan.
