In honor of World Hospice & Palliative Care Day (WHPCD), a morning walk program is arranged. Together with a cup of coffee, we stroll through Incheon Songdo Central Park to commemorate the day and form a network. Participants will freely walk along the circulation according to the guidance, and the detailed course is as follows. It is a schedule to take WHPCD commemorative photos together at Songdo Hanok Village and return to Songdo Convensia. Commemorate WHPCD and enjoy some fresh morning air and networking with participants.

We are excited to inform you that we are going to have an event in conjunction with World Hospice and Palliative Care Day 2023. The details are as follows:

There will be a forum related to this year's theme "Compassionate Communities: Together for Palliative Care". There will also be booths and exhibitions from palliative care providers and hospices from around the country. You are invited to attend, either as individuals or as a group representing organisations.

This year's event also coincides with the 25-year anniversary of our organisations, the Malaysian Hospice and Palliative Care Council (MHPCC)

Mongolia

Mongolian Palliative Care Society want to celebrate WHPCD with two activities: 

  1. We want organize a palliative nursing course for 10 days ( 2 hours every day from 6 pm. till 8 p.m. ) for nurses in September 25- October 6. 
  2. We want meet in central Chingis Khan square of Ulanbaatar at 10 a.m. in September 30 and work together to the park . We want to celebrate WHPCD in the park with singing, dancing, playing, doing photo, reporting our one year activities and giving award to the best palliative care workers. We will send photo of events after celebrating WHPCD. September is not so cold in Ulaanbaatar for this reason we choose this day. October stay more cold, even can be snow and celebrating outside is not comfortable for us.

The Ruth Foundation for Palliative and Hospice Care, Inc. is offering this two-day End-of-Life Nursing Education Consortium (ELNEC) training which is designed to cater to the specific educational needs of nurses involved in the care of geriatric patients and their families, whether these individuals reside at home or receive care within community-based settings. This is an internationally offered course, developed jointly by the City of Hope Medical Center and the American Association of the Colleges of Nursing. The training program is notable for its specialized modules focusing on geriatric palliative care. These modules go in-depth into the physiological, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs of older adults with chronic conditions, all approached from a person-centered perspective.
