Wish all of your loved ones a wonderful Christmas & Happy New Year while making a difference this year.

APHN's Christmas Postal Service

This year, the Asia Pacific Hospice Palliative Care Network has partnered with Superhero Me to produce seasonal cards as part of our fundraising initiative!

Three children from Superhero Me have created 3 very special designs around the theme of 'Circle of Life' for us. Their designs will be featured on the front of our Christmas cards.

All proceeds will go towards APHN to support their effort in producing and providing free educational resources to palliative care workers as well as their mission to promote access to quality hospice and palliative care for all in the Asia Pacific region.

Show your support by purchasing and sending out a Christmas card this year!

About Superhero Me

SUPERHERO ME is a non-profit inclusive arts movement that arms children from special needs with creative confidence through collaboration and mentorship opportunities. It focuses on inclusive programming and training, creative advocacy and strategic partnerships and serves as a social mixing platform for children of all abilities. @superheromeSG

THEIR VISION is to make the arts accessible for children from less privileged and special needs communities and push its potential as a great levelling tool. Exposing children to various art forms through partnerships with artists allows them to experience the transformative power of creativity and empowers them with opportunities that foster inclusion and resilience.

Design 1

Design 1: “To make a prairie it takes a clover and one bee”

Small but mighty, busy and attracted to beauty, these humble pollinators create life. The title is taken from Emily Dickinson’s poem To Make a Prairie (1779), which reminds us of how the biggest dreams begin small. This image was made by Aliyya, who has cerebral palsy and communicates with speech software.

Designed by Nur Aliyya Qisya Binte Muhammad Fazrin, 11 & Joyce Teo

Design 2: Long Journey

Known as the largest camel in existence, the critically endangered Bactrian camel can be found in the Gobi Desert. Two large humps storing fat provides these camels with sustenance as they travel long distances across the harsh desert. In this drawing, eight-year-old Fong Git Yu, who has autism imagines a young and adult Bactrian camel who had been on a long journey together, finally arriving at an Oasis in the Gobi Desert.

Designed by Fong Git Yu, 8 & Marvin Tang

Design 3: Favourite Things

This collection of 12 of Rinn’s favourite things hopes to spark joy and bring light in a season of change. Rinn, who has autism, will always look out for friends who are upset and has learnt different ways of managing her own emotion, including thinking of what makes her happy.

Designed by Rinn Chan, 8 & Jean Loo
