Event Description:
For this meeting, we plan to explore how COVID-19 has affected the delivery of palliative care in the primary/ community care setting within the region. Many of you will have experience in this area, in terms of how palliative care has been an important aspect of the clinical management of people with COVID-19, how COVID-19 has affected patients receiving palliative care for advanced chronic illness, how services have been affected, and what solutions to the challenges of the pandemic have been tried – maybe with varying levels of success but from which you have learned.
