Kaye_StoryKaye’s Story receives commendation at State Art Awards in Australia.

Mike Hill and his team at Moonshine Movies have been awarded a commendation for their work for Kaye’s Story, created for National Palliative Care Week, at the 2013 Victorian Cancer Council Art Awards in October.

The theme for the 2013 annual awards was balance. With nine categories all up, Mike and his team at Moonshine Movies received a highly commended for Kaye’s Story, with the top award in the film section going to Kay Gravell for her work in ‘Black Hole of Grief’, which incorporates images of the artist’s body and a poem representing her purpose of coming to terms with the loss of symmetry and balance in her body following a mastectomy.
