About

This year, World Hospice and Palliative Care Day (WHPCD) 2023 will be on the 14th of October. This year’s theme is Compassionate Communities: Together for Palliative Care. WHPCD is an annual unified day of action to celebrate and support hospice and palliative care around the world.

As part of our efforts to celebrate and support hospice and palliative care around the world, we are organising our annual fundraising event: Meaningful Miles, where individuals or teams are encouraged to fundraise while carrying out the pledged distance of their chosen activity:

START FUNDRAISING TODAY

How It Works

1. Start your campaign

Visit our page on Give Asia. Click the 'FUNDRAISE FOR EVENT' button and create an account on Give Asia. You can join as an individual/team and choose any activity such as running, walking, hiking, cycling etc. you wish to complete in the month of October! Share it in your campaign title e.g. Tom is Cycling for Palliative Care!

2. Pledge your goal

Choose your distance and fundraising goal to accomplish (e.g. 1,000 km for $5,000) in October. Track your distance covered and share your progress on your campaign page.

3. Share your challenge

Start sharing your challenge with your friends and family! Encourage them to donate to your campaign or even start their own fundraiser! No effort or contribution is too small.
