The Asia Pacific Hospice Palliative Care Network (APHN) is closely monitoring the evidence on the use of cannabinoids for pain management and other indications for symptom control in Palliative Care. Based on the present evidence on medical use and the potential harms, it does not regard it as an essential medication for palliative care, nor does it support the legalization of cannabis for recreation.
